About me

Turning Data into Insights, and Ideas into Applications.

I'm a Data Science student at Purdue, passionate about software development and data analysis.
Experienced in Python (Pandas, NumPy), Java, and statistical modeling.
Built applications, optimized clinical trial data, and solved real-world problems through code.

Experience

  1. Undergraduate Data Science Researcher - The Data Mine |West Lafayette, IN, USA

    Research Assistance | August, 2024 — December, 2024

    - Partnered with Cook Research Incorporated (CRI) to design and implement a system for monitoring clinical trial data, and optimizing resource utilization.
    - Used Python (Pandas, NumPy) to clean and process trial data, applying time-based filtering and mathematical operations to accumulate data for reporting purposes.
    - Developed key metrics and used Linear Regression to analyze trial data trends, providing insights and predictions to improve trial efficiency and data quality.

  2. Cardiovascular Research Project | Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

    Intern | January, 2022 — December, 2022

    - Persuaded and collected data about patients’ breathing rates of 2 patients per time, twice a week for a total of 500 patients directly by Magneto-LC resonance (MCLR) sensor at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy HCMC.
    - Reported data once a month among 6 other participants, helping researchers at the University of South Florida analyze the accuracy of the Magneto-LC resonance (MCLR) sensor.
